David Foley
David Foley grew up in Whitechapel, East London, where his immediate and extended families were in the building trades. Even as a boy, he was tough and diligent. He played sports like soccer, rugby, and more specifically field hockey. In fact, he just missed making the National Field Hockey Team that represented Great Britain in the XXVI Olympiad. He’d been a star on the Under 18 Junior National Team, the Under 21 National Team, and the Senior Men’s National Team. He was a perfectionist, used to work and winning.
In construction, Foley’s trajectory was obvious the first day he uncurled a sheet of blueprints. He has a keen eye for detail and great breadth of skills. He can do anything and do it exceedingly well, all of which saw him rise quickly from frame-up team to management.
In 2004, after moving to Maryland, he started at ILEX Construction & Development, where he became the Project Manager of a new division called ILEX Services, which catered to a very exclusive and choosey clientele list. He carefully developed the division, in time becoming the General Manager.
After 4 years with ILEX, however, Foley decided to follow in the footsteps of his parents and his extended family by starting his own company. In 2007, he founded Foley Construction and Residential Services.
For Foley, hard work, unparalleled dedication, and vast talent have always been part of his fabric.
